The first “soap without soap” goes into production
Dr Heinz Maurer succeeds in implementing his idea. The first “soap without soap” goes into production, a cleansing bar based on surfactants that corresponds to the skin’s physiologically slightly acidic pH of 5.5. Dr Maurer provokes the experts with the claim: “People have been washing themselves incorrectly for 2 000 years.”

Sebapharma GmbH & Co. KG is founded in Boppard and is the sales company for the companies Sebamat GmbH, Herzpunkt Pharma GmbH, Maurer Pharma GmbH and Maurer Pharma Nord GmbH.

Move to the new company headquarters
The company moves production, research and the warehouse to the Bad Salzig site, including a modern office building.
Sebapharma GmbH & Co. KG uses the specially planned and built site since 1984 and is constantly developing it to meet the latest requirements.
